Alvin Johan Everson 

Alvin Johan Everson was born 4 Feb 1897 and enlisted into the Wisconsin National Guard on 9 May 1917.  He was the son of Ever Everson, a box maker at the Wagon Factory, and Ragnilda (Hilda) Everson.  Both parents were born in Norway. 

His National Guard unit was rolled into Company A of the 107th Military Police assigned to the 32nd ‘Red Arrow’ Division and was discharged as sergeant on 8 Mar 1919.  He returned to the U.S. on the U.S.S. Pueblo arriving into Hoboken NJ on 22 Feb 1919.

He was also assigned to the five fronts in three major offensives – the Aisne-Marne, Oise-Aisne and Meuse-Argonne.  To read more about the 107th and 32nd Division 'Red Arrow' click here.
